Turning The Lows Of A Marriage Into The Highs

At the beginning of a marriage your spouse can do no wrong. They practically walk on water and everything is perfect. The day to day issues slowly begin to creep in and it is easy to become annoyed at the little things that your spouse does. Over time these slight annoyances can mount and actually cause problems in your marriage.

You have worked hard at your marriage, to keep you and your spouse happy and well adjusted. You will not want to ruin all that you have because of an annoyance, that at one time did not bother you at all. If you follow the tips provided below, you will be able to calming manage these annoyances before they turn into a tsunami.

1. Focus On The Positive- Why do we all to often focus only on the negative things in life? If I only had more money, if only my home was bigger, why did my car have to brake down. These are common questions people ask themselves, instead of saying at: at least I have money in the bank, there are many without homes and I should be happy I have a roof over my head, the car may have broken down but once it is fixed I still have it, not everyone can say that. The same should also be applied to your marriage. No one is perfect, so we need to stop expecting our spouse to be. Instead of getting annoyed that they came home from work late, be happy they have a job and work hard to provide for you. Don\’t yell when they spend money on something that you think is silly, instead be thankful that you had the money for the purchase and it has made your spouse happy. Instead of thinking and focusing on how your spouse has annoyed you think of all the ways your life has been better because they are a part of it.

2. Breathe- There is a lot to this method of calming yourself. Take a few deep breaths and count to ten and you will be surprised at how your perspective returns.

3. Do Not Yell, SPEAK- If you find that you can not overlook something then you should sit and talk with your spouse. Do not talk of all the little petty issues just talk about what is causing you stress. Talking does not by any means refer screaming and yelling. You need to calmly state what the annoyance is and try to come up with a solution to the problem that both of you can live with.

4. Do Things To Build Your Relationship- Many people don\’t realize the value of taking time out of the day to to bond with each other. Participate in a shared interest, go to dinner, or plan a romantic getaway. You will find that your spouse annoys you less when you feel attached to them.

5. Turn The Annoyance Into A Joke- Sometimes it is better to laugh then get mad. If you can find a way to make the annoyance humorous, without making fun of your spouse, you will find the annoyance will go away and turn into a joke. Play a game of hide and seek with shoes that are always being left around the house, or freeze their dirty clothes if they always leave them on the floor. Nothing should be done with anger, instead it should be completed with a loving heart. Be careful not to cross a line and do something that will anger or hurt your spouse. My husband has a bad habit of leaving his sleep machine tube out and it brakes all the time because the kids like to play with it. When I make the beds in the morning and notice that he forgot to put it away I will then hide it on him. Each night before bed we would get a good laugh at the different places that I found to hide is tube. It has now gotten to the point that I am saddened when I don\’t see it because I know that we will not be playing our game of hide and seek that night. It was the perfect way to turn an annoying (and costly) situation into something fun and bonding.

We tend to get stressed at our spouse to quickly, and it is something that we all need to work on in our life. Remember, you spouse is only human, same as you, and sometimes annoyance will occur. If they are handled properly, you will find that these annoyance are not only small but they will be the thing that creates and even stronger bond between the two of you.

Arguments About Divorce, Contact Legal Representation Specializing In Divorce Law

Divorce law is different in a majority of states and each case will require specialized considerations. If there are children in the marriage or property involved, the hiring of an attorney may be necessary for equal division of assets.

Divorce in the majority of situations is not a case of saying it is over and walking away. The laws of divorce do vary among the states and it is important to know which would apply to your particular situation. Some can opt for a no fault divorce. This is when neither party has done wrong doings; there are simply differences that are irreconcilable. If filing for divorce and have reason such as spouse is incarcerated or there has been abuse or infidelity, this would not qualify as a no fault.

If there are complete agreements on how the property is divided among the couple they could file for dissolution of marriage. They have to both be agreement on who gets what. If there is any disagreement an attorney would recommend filing for divorce.

It also makes a difference as to which state you reside in or if you both are in different states. Most states have a fifty fifty split among the assets, however, some do not and will honor the states law of the one who filed the divorce papers.

When children that are under eighteen are involved with the divorce, custody can become an issue for many. When families choose to have shared parenting it is best when they both live in the same area to prevent the children from being shuffled long distances in short time spans.

Should no children and no property of value be involved, the divorce could be a fairly simple process. Should there be questions regarding custody or who gets the house, a Divorce law attorney should be contacted. Separating is difficult and when there are drawn out court cases it becomes excruciating so having legal representation may be needed.

Did the Ancient Greeks and Romans Create Any Jewelry?

The first true examples we have of Ancient Greek jewelry utilize beads shaped in the form of various animals and shells. Around–00 BC the Greeks started to incorporate gold and gemstones into their jewelry designs. By the year 300 BC the Greeks had ventured into the area of colored jewelry utilizing emeralds, amethysts, and pearls. The Greeks also made cameos from a striped brown pink and cream agate stone known as the Indian Sardonyx. Greek jewelry started off with some simple designs (when compared to other cultures of the time) but as time progressed, the designs grew increasingly more complex with varying materials.

The people of Ancient Greece did not wear jewelry in their daily lives. It was worn during special events, occasions, or public appearances. A common gift for women, it was displayed to show off not only their incredible beauty, but also their social status and tremendous wealth. It was thought that jewelry had mystical powers. Many believed that it could ward off the \”Evil Eye\” (a look that one person could send your way that would bring you injury or other forms of bad luck). Most of the Greek jewelry of this time period was made from (1) silver, (2) gold, (3) ivory, (4) gemstones, (5) clay, and (6) bronze.

We know of two types of jewelry that the Ancient Greeks developed. These pieces were: (1) cast jewelry pieces and (2) those pieces made from hammering out sheet metal. Although we have only a few examples of cast jewelry available today, we know that they were made from casting metal onto two moulds (made out of either clay or stone). These moulds were joined together with wax, and molten metal was poured into the center (a common technique that had been passed down from the Ancient Bronze Age). We have more samples of their jewelry that was created by hammering out sheet metal. The process was simple…sheet metal was hammered to the desired thickness, and then soldered together.

The Ancient Romans also had jewelry designs as part of their culture. The brooch, an item used to secure clothing together, was the most common example of early Roman jewelry. The Roman Empire was vast and huge, and the Romans took full advantage of this size, incorporating a diverse range of materials from far and wide. In the earlier years they utilized a lot of glass beads and pearls, but in later years they utilized bronze and bone and gold. Imported sapphires from Sri Lanka and Indian diamond (along with amber and emeralds), were also incorporated into their jewelry designs.

Following in the tradition of their brothers the Ancient Greeks, they too believed that jewelry could be used to ward off the \”Evil Eye\” that might be cast from one\’s enemies. It was common for women to wear jewelry all over their bodies, but men would usually only wear a ring on the finger. While it was expected that Roman men would wear a ring on the finger, the number of rings, and number of fingers used, was left up to individual preference.
